This place is our all time favourite to go place for Mumbai style vada pav. They have different flavours including Schezwan. The vada is perfectly cooked and spice level is moderate. It is served with fried chilli to balance your spice level. The pav is actual pav and not sweet/modified bun. Do try once!

Famous for the Mumbai vada pav and Elaichi cutting chai. There are varieties of Vada Pav which you can try if you need options. The Schezwan Vada Pav is the better option. Recommend to the owner to add the spicy garlic chutney to the original Vada pav. Thank you for bringing the Mumbai favorite street food item to Bay Area. Staff is polite and courteous and has a sense of humor.

Misal pav is just too good. Very authentic and very well made. The chefs are from Mumbai and they exactly know how to make the misal original recipe. Very yummy. Corn patties are also good. Staff is friendly and since they are starting out, they are friendly to let the customer to taste the food. We tasted the misal and just fell for it instantly. Very well done. This food truck is right next to pav bhaji hut.

Very good Vada Pav. The Vada was both hot on the inside and a bit crispy on the outside, just how we like it. Didn’t have the green chutney on the inside and I’m not sure what the authentic way is but it came with garlic powder and 2 fried chilies on the side. Very tasty overall. My only complaint is that it seemed like Thai chilles were used for the fried chillies, and I’m not sure if that’s a good choice as they pack major heat and may hamper the savoring quite a bit. Regular chilies would have made it perfect, with palatable heat levels. The mango lassi deserves a special mention as it was sooooo good, rich in cardamom flavor too. Made us wonder if it was just diluted Mango Shrikhand :) Person at the cash register is nice and patient. Will be back soon.

Service & Staff Friendliness: 5/5 Pricing: 5/5 Food 50/5 (Not a typo) It was only at the time of payment that I realized I am in California and not in any city of India. Every food item tastes so nostalgic and close to home. The Vada-Pav is here is worth every dollar. It’s fried and served on the spot unlike most other trucks. Special mention to the Pav that DOES NOT taste like a bun at all. Chai too is total amaze. Balanced blend of all the necessary ingredients. It’s the proper Mumbai Cutting Chai. But the king of the menu is Missal Pav. You just cannot miss it. I can confidently say it’s the finest Missal in the whole of US!
